This was a full front-to-back project - a curved front walkway leading up to the house, paired with a clean backyard patio. Two separate installs, same attention to detail throughout.

The front walkway is built with Techo-Bloc pavers and runs a smooth curve from the driveway all the way to the front porch. The landscaping beds alongside it were freshly mulched with dark black mulch, and the plantings - Japanese maple, ornamental shrubs, perennials - all frame the walkway in a way that makes the whole front of the house feel intentional and pulled together. Nothing about this was an afterthought.

In the back, the patio gives this homeowner a real outdoor space to work with. Flat, level, and solid. Both installs were built over our open-graded base system, which is a key part of how we do things. That base allows water to drain freely underneath the pavers instead of pooling or building pressure. It's what keeps a patio or walkway stable year after year, even through freeze-thaw cycles that can wreck a cheaper install.

A lot of homeowners don't think about what's under the pavers - they just see the surface. But the base is where a good hardscape install either holds up or starts to fail. We use the open-graded system because it's simply the right way to do it for long-term performance. Techo-Bloc is also one of the best paver products on the market, and it shows in how crisp and consistent the finish looks when it's done.

We're really proud of how this one came together. When the landscaping fills in a bit more and the lawn recovers, this property is going to look sharp from every angle. That's the goal every time.
